SEBASTE, Antique—The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Antique Provincial Statistical Office presents the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) preliminary results to the Municipal Local Government Unit of Sebaste on 09 July 2025.

LGU Sebaste officials, deparment heads, and representatives from different NGAs attended the presentation of the 2024 CBMS preliminary results.

Hon. January C. Padpad, Municipal Mayor of Sebaste, attended the event and reviewed the presentation of the preliminary results. Local Sanggunian Officials, Barangay Officials, Department Heads, and representatives from National Government Agencies were also present and contributed pertinent insights to the presented data.

Hon. January C. Padpad and Dr. Randy M. Tacogdoy exchange insights on the importance of the CBMS in local-level planning and policy making.

Dr. Randy M. Tacogdoy, Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA Antique, welcomed the participants from the Local Government Unit (LGU) to the highly anticipated presentation of the preliminary results. Dr. Tacogdoy underscored the pivotal role of the Municipal LGU’s unwavering support and participation in the successful execution of the 2024 Census of Population (POPCEN) and CBMS.

EnP Jeffrey G. Conlu, Senior Statistical Specialist and CBMS Provincial Focal Person, presented the preliminary results. EnP Conlu emphasized the significance of localizing the monitoring of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) using indicators derived from CBMS data.

Jeniffer Varona, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator of MLGU Sebaste, expressed the municipality’s sincere gratitude to PSA for its invaluable contributions. The municipality recognizes the substantial impact that CBMS data can have on its local planning and policy-making processes.
