PATNONGON, Antique—The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Antique Provincial Statistical Office presents the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) preliminary results to the Municipal Local Government Unit of Patnongon on 15 July 2025.
LGU Patnongon officials, department heads, and representatives from different NGAs attended the presentation of the 2024 CBMS preliminary results.
Dr. Randy M. Tacogdoy, Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA Antique, extended the agency’s gratitude for the continued support and assistance provided by LGU Patnongon to PSA. Dr. Tacogdoy underscored the pivotal role of the LGU in identifying programs and projects that are underpinned by evidence through the CBMS data.

EnP Jeffrey G. Conlu, Senior Statistical Specialist and CBMS Provincial Focal Person, presented the preliminary results. EnP Conlu provided detailed data for the highlighted sectors per barangay. The CBMS results were presented based on indicators identified in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on localizing monitoring at the municipal and barangay levels.
Local officials, department heads, and representatives from various National Government Agencies attended the presentation of the preliminary results. Valuable insights and clarifications were exchanged, and appropriate responses were provided by the PSA.
Joey A. Alagos, Planning Officer of LGU Patnongon, further emphasized that the CBMS results will serve as a pivotal input in local development planning, drawing parallels with the successful implementation of the 2022 CBMS.
