To generate estimates on supply, disposition, average farmgate price, and other related data of livestock and poultry commodities at the household level and from establishments, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Antique conducted a refresher training on the Fourth Quarter 2024 Livestock and Poultry Surveys (LPS). There are two surveys for LPS; these are Backyard LPS and Commercial LPS.

On 15 November 2024, the refresher training for CLPS was conducted at PSA Antique Conference Room. Consequently, the training for BLPS was held on 21 to 22 November 2024. The training was attended by one (1) and five (5) Statistical Researchers (SRs) for CLPS and BLPS, respectively. 

There are 320 sample households for BLPS and 16 sample establishments for CLPS. The data collection for both surveys will be undertaken by hired SRs through face-to-face interview with the respondents. Both surveys will utilize Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI).

The enumeration for CLPS started from 18 to 30 November, while the BLPS is still ongoing from 02 to 10 December.
