In its continuous effort to promote civil registration and ensure that every individual has access to legal identity, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Antique, in collaboration with the Municipal Civil Registrar (MCR) Office in the province, will conduct a series of Mobile Registration Activities under the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP).

The BRAP is a national initiative by the PSA in partnership with Local Government Units (LGUs) through the Local Civil Registry Offices (LCROs). It aims to increase the level of birth registration across the country by reaching underserved communities and providing free assistance in securing birth certificates. This initiative also ensures that more Filipinos gain legal identity — a fundamental right that enables access to government programs, healthcare, education, and employment opportunities.

Participants of the BRAP mobile registration will enjoy a range of free services and simplified processes aimed at making birth registration more accessible. These include the free and efficient registration of births, the free issuance of a PSA negative certification (or Certificate of No Record of Birth), and relaxed documentary requirements to accommodate more applicants, especially those who may have difficulty securing standard documents. Most importantly, upon successful registration, participants will receive a free PSA-issued copy of their birth certificate, ensuring they gain access to vital documents without financial burden.

Residents of the scheduled barangays are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
