SAN REMIGIO, Antique — To ensure that every individual is registered to the National ID System, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Antique reached out to far-flung barangays of the Municipality of San Remigio and conducted National ID Mobile Registration from 07 to 12 July 2025.

A total of two Registration Kit Operators (RKO) and one Registration Assistant (RA) were deployed to register the residents. The registration teams transferred from one barangay to another, resulting to a total of 315 individuals registered in the National ID system. Of this number, 112 residents were registered in Brgy. Walker, 33 registrants from Brgy. Insubuan, 55 were from Brgy. Panpanan II, and 115 were registered in Brgy. Panpanan I.

The National ID System aims to provide each Filipino and resident alien with a unique and permanent identification number, serving as a reliable proof of identity for a range of government and private transactions. Registration and demographic updates for the National ID are free of charge. Clients should bring a valid government-issued ID and any relevant supporting documents to verify their identity and status.
