ANTIQUE— In 2024, 51,914 individuals have registered for the National ID. Moreover, a total of 538,893, or 90.40 percent, of the province’s population based on the 2020 Census of Population of Housing (CPH) have registered with the Philippine Identification System as of December 2024. This achievement underscores the province’s commitment to inclusive registration efforts.

Among the 18 municipalities in Antique, three posted registration figures above the provincial average, these are Sibalom, San Jose, and Caluya. Conversely, municipalities such as Sebaste, Belison, and Anini-y reported the highest number of unregistered individuals, highlighting areas where intensified registration efforts are needed.

Municipalities with the highest number of issued National ID in Paper include San Jose (3,072), Hamtic (589), and Sibalom (495). Meanwhile, Sebaste (65), Valderrama (68), and Tibiao (104) recorded the lowest issuance figures. The transition to real-time National ID in Paper issuance has significantly enhanced service delivery, allowing registrants to receive their National ID immediately after registration.

In conclusion, the continued efforts to register individuals for the National ID system in 2024 have been successful, with over 51,900 people registered. As the registration process resumes in 2025, it is expected that more citizens will be able to access essential government services, ensuring greater inclusivity and streamlined processes for all.
