SAN REMIGIO, AntiqueThe Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Antique Provincial Statistical Office presents the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) preliminary results to the Municipal Local Government Unit of San Remigio on 29 July 2025.

LGU San Remigio officials, department heads, and representatives from different NGAs attended the presentation of the 2024 CBMS preliminary results

Honorable Sme J. Panes, Municipal Vice Mayor of San Remigio, welcomed the participants and emphasized the significance of the CBMS in the planning and policy formulation processes of the local government unit. Vice Mayor Panes expressed the LGU’s anticipation of the CBMS results, which will greatly contribute to the plans and programs moving forward by accurately identifying beneficiaries, particularly the vulnerable sector.


Hon. Sme J. Panes, Municipal Vice Mayor, welcomed the participants and expected a productive discussion of the CBMS data results to further local plans and programs of the municipality.. 

Dr. Randy M. Tacogdoy, Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA Antique, expressed gratitude to the LGU and acknowledged the continued support and assistance provided to the 2024 CBMS. Dr. Tacogdoy underscored that the CBMS is a highly relevant data source for the LGU to provide more aligned interventions targeting households and individuals in greatest need.

EnP Jeffrey G. Conlu, Senior Statistical Specialist of PSA Antique, presented the preliminary results, particularly the highlighted results by barangay. EnP Conlu highlighted the substantial contribution of the CBMS in monitoring Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) indicators at the local level.

EnP Lyn M. Listano, OIC Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, shared that the CBMS will be beneficial in assessing programs and assisting in developing a more targeted approach to project identification.
