LGU San Jose officials, department heads, and representatives from different NGAs attended the presentation of the 2024 CBMS preliminary results
Atty. Paul Joseph N. Untaran, Honorable Mayor of San Jose de Buenavista, welcomed the participants and emphasized that the CBMS data would assist the Local Government Unit (LGU) in crafting policies and programs that would benefit the San Josenhons.
Mayor Untaran underscored the CBMS as an essential tool in identifying priority areas, particularly the most vulnerable sectors of the community.
Hon. Paul Joseph N. Untaran, Municipal Mayor, extends the LGU’s anticipation of the CBMS results and expects that the data will further assist the municipality in developing more responsive and strategic policies and programs that are specific and targeted.
Dr. Randy M. Tacogdoy, Chief Statistical Specialist of the Antique Provincial Statistical Office (PSA), extended the agency’s gratitude to the LGU San Jose for the invaluable support provided during the 2024 CBMS operations.
Dr. Tacogdoy highlighted the ownership of the CBMS and the paramount importance of safeguarding the municipality’s data through appropriate commitments to data privacy provisions.
EnP Jeffrey G. Conlu, Senior Statistical Specialist of the PSA, presented the preliminary results, emphasizing key indicators derived from the CBMS and utilized to monitor 21 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) indicators.
EnP Conlu also underscored the significance of following up the CBMS in subsequent rounds of operations, as it would facilitate monitoring of local programs and projects implemented within the municipality.
Engr. Jose O. Magbanua, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, expressed the LGU’s commitment to continuing the CBMS data collection in the 2027 CBMS.
Department heads, LGU personnel, and representatives from various National Government Agencies attended the presentation of preliminary results. Valuable insights and clarifications were exchanged between the PSA and the participants.
