LAUA-AN, Antique—The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Antique Provincial Statistical Office presents the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) preliminary results to the Municipal Local Government Unit of Laua-an on 28 July 2025.

Honorable Aser S. Baladjay, Municipal Mayor of Laua-an, welcomed the participants and underscored the significance of the CBMS in the planning and policy formulation processes of the local government unit. 

Mayor Baladjay expressed the LGU’s gratitude to the PSA and has eagerly anticipated the results of the CBMS, which commenced in July 2024.

Hon. Aser S. Baladjay, Municipal Mayor, extended the LGU’s appreciation of the CBMS results in crafting more responsive plans and programs. 

Dr. Randy M. Tacogdoy, Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA Antique, shared how the PSA valued the continued support and assistance provided by  LGU Laua-an.  Dr. Tacogdoy emphasized that the CBMS results will be advantageous to the LGU for more aligned interventions targeting households and individuals in greatest need.

EnP Jeffrey G. Conlu, Senior Statistical Specialist of PSA Antique, presented the preliminary results, particularly the highlighted sectors by barangay.  EnP Conlu highlighted the substantial contribution of the CBMS in monitoring Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) indicators at the local level.

The meeting was attended by department heads and representatives, during which valuable insights and clarifications were exchanged between the Philippine Statistics Authority and LGU attendees.
