SAN JOSE, Antique—The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Antique Provincial Statistical Office increases momentum as the 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CBMS) field operations continue.

As of 17 August 2024, more than 105,000 households and buildings were enumerated and geotagged. Currently in its sixth week, hired field personnel continue to expedite the enumeration to reach all areas in the different municipalities of the province.
The 2024 POPCEN-CBMS is a multipronged initiative that will primarily update the population count of the country as well as the social registries of the government, particularly those providing social protection programs.
