The Philippine Statistics Authority – Antique Provincial Statistical Office conducted the Provincial Level Training for the 2024 Functional Literacy, Education and Mass Media Survey (FLEMMS) Data Processing on November 11-12, 2024 at PSA Antique Training Room, San Jose, Antique.

The two-day training was participated by seven (7) hired Data Processors, Provincial Focal Person and Chief Statistical Specialist. 

The 2024 FLEMMS is designed to provide a quantitative framework that will serve as a basis in the formulation of policies and program on the improvement of literacy and education status of the population.

The data processing for the 2024 FLEMMS will use the Data Processing System (DPS) developed by the Systems Development Division under the Information Technology and Dissemination Service. The DPS will incorporate the major stages of the data processing including ID validation, completeness check, and consistency check to ensure data quality. 

The purpose of the training was to provide the trainees with the instructions and procedures of the data processing and to familiarize them with the available modules and functions of the system.

The 2024 FLEMMS personnel share the commitment to protect the confidentiality of the information obtained from the respondent. The data processors are responsible in processing the data ensuring quality, completeness and timely release of the 2024 FLEMMS results. 

The data processing will start from November 13 to 29, 2024.
