SAN JOSE, Antique – The Philippine Statistics Authority – Antique Provincial Statistical Office conducted the Third Level Training for the 2024 Functional Literacy, Education and Mass Media Survey on 23 to 27 September at Adelaide Tourists and Travelers Inn, San Jose, Antique.
The 2024 FLEMMS is designed to provide a quantitative framework and a reliable baseline data that will guide the development and evaluation of educational and literacy policies and programs. The FLEMMS is one of the designated statistical activities for critical policy and decision-making by the government per Executive Order No. 352.

The trainees were equipped with knowledge gained through interactive discussions, practical exercises, mock interviews, and field practice sessions during training.
The roles of the data collectors (DCs) and team supervisors (TSs) are important in ensuring quality and timely release of the 2024 FLEMMS results. It is their responsibility to collect accurate and reliable information, following the instructions laid out in this manual. The critical nature of the DCs and TSs work in this nationwide undertaking cannot be overemphasized. Hence, they are enjoined to perform the tasks assigned with utmost dedication.
The data collection will start from 30 September to 22 October.
