28 February 2024 - Silay City, Negros Occidental. As part of the 34th Civil Registration Month Celebration with the theme: “CRVS: The Future of Seamless Services”, The Philippine Statistics Authority – Negros Occidental Provincial Statistical Office in partnership with the Union of Statistics Employees (USE) conducted an Outreach Program and Gift Giving to pupils of Eustaquio Lopez Elementary School (ELES) who resides from the Yolanda Housing.

Mrs. Genalin D. Biboso, Principal III of ELES, welcomed the team from PSA and gave an inspiring message to the students. Twenty-one (21) Kinder pupils, forty-six (46) Grade 1 pupils, thirty-nine (39) Grade 2 pupils, forty-three (43) Grade 3 pupils, forty (40) Grade 4 pupils, forty-eight (48) Grade 5 pupils, and fifty-four (54) Grade 6 pupils received school supplies, hygiene kits, and nutritious snacks from the employees of PSA-Negros Occidental. Supplies were also distributed to the class advisers for their classroom use. The Philippine Identification System Registration Team also set up registration kits to cater to pupils, teachers, and staff of the school who have not yet registered with the National ID.

A Certificate of Recognition was presented to the Philippine Statistics Authority, stating “In grateful recognition in organizing and conducting an outreach activity held in Eustaquio Lopez Elementary School on February 28, 2024. Your dedication to reaching out to those in need and providing essential support demonstrates true compassion and commitment to making a positive difference in the community”.

PSA Accountant I Angie F. Oirada gave a closing message thanking the school for their accommodation and to wrap up the activity.
