SAN JOSE, Antique—The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) continues the 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CBMS) field operations in the province of Antique.

By the end of the third week of enumeration, more than 50,000 households were already visited and enumerated. Currently in its fourth week, hired field personnel paces up to reach all enumeration areas in the different municipalities of the province.
Rain or shine, the enumerators and their respective supervisors course through varying levels of weather and terrain conditions to ensure that all households and buildings are visited and geotagged.

The data gathered in the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS will facilitate the updating of the total population in the country and the social registries of the government, particularly those providing social protection programs.
The field enumeration will last until 16 September 2024 and all Antiqueños are enjoined to participate.
