Headline inflation or overall inflation in Western Visayas sustained the downtrend to 6.8 percent in June 2023, from 7.1 percent in May 2023. This is the fourth consecutive month of slowdown in headline inflation and the second lowest in the past thirteen months. In June of the previous year, Region 6 inflation was lower at 6.2 percent.
