The Philippine Statistics Authority - Antique launched Rehistro Bulilit - to increase the registration turnout of children aged one to four years old at Maybato North, San Jose, Antique on 23 August 2024.
A total of 75 individuals were registered in the National ID system; 28 were children 1 to 4 years old, 25 were aged 5 to 14 years old, and 22 were aged 15-59 years old. Also, 14 ePhilIDs were issued during the activity.
This campaign aims to encourage parents/guardians in their absence to register their children to the National ID System and ensure that they are aware and able to comply with the necessary supporting document/s to present during registration.
Dr. Randy M. Tacogdoy, Provincial Statistics Officer emphasized in his message the importance of registering in the National ID system. He also reiterated that all three forms of the National ID—paper-printed or the ePhilID, the PVC card, and the digital ID—are valid.
PhilSys Antique team spearheaded a lively event full of colorful decorations and balloons. An information dissemination on the National ID and Birth Registration Project was conducted. Team members wore fun animal-designed head dresses, adding a playful touch to catch the attention of the kids. The venue was vibrantly decorated, creating an inviting atmosphere. Attendees enjoyed a raffle with exciting prizes, and children received special loot bags, making the event memorable for everyone involved.
