SAN JOSE, Antique—The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Antique Provincial Statistical Office participated in the Orientation and Project Planning for Project Cherish: Disability Inclusive Social Protection for Children on 07 November 2024.

The activity was initiated by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Regional Field Office VI together with the Municipal Local Government Unit of San Jose de Buenavista as one of the three pilot areas in the country and the lone LGU beneficiary in the Visayas cluster.

PSA Antique's participation as a project partner is essential in the project's whole-of-government approach, specifically in the establishment of the Referral Network, where the agency can provide beneficiaries with access to all offered services.
Project Cherish: Disability Inclusive Social Protection for Children is a community-based program that provides holistic care and support to Children with Disabilities (CWD) and their families. It addresses substantial unmet needs and provides comprehensive social services to provide opportunities for the development of CWD’s full potential.
