The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Antique implemented Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration to Filipino children below five (5) years old last 13 February 2024. This is to ensure an inclusive, secure, and sustainable national identification system.

A total of 4, 500 children below five (5) years old were successfully registered in the PhilSys from February to April 2024.

To register children below five (5) years old they should be accompanied either by their parent or guardian during PhilSys registration. The accompanying person must be PhilSys-registered prior to the registration of the children in the PhilSys. For authentication purposes, the PhilSys Number (PSN) of the children will be linked to the PSN of the parent or guardian.

An original copy of the Birth Certificate (PSA/NSO/LCR Copy) should be presented to validate the demographic information of the child. 

During the registration, only the demographic information and front-facing photograph of the children will be collected. The complete biometric information will be initially captured when they reach the age of five (5).
