SAN JOSE, Antique— The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Antique Provincial Statistical Office joins the celebration of the 11^th Anniversary of the PSA on 12 September 2024. The celebration recognizes the institution’s 11 years of continuous provision of quality products and services to the Filipino people. 

Dr. Randy M. Tacogdoy, Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA Antique, receives the Certificate of Recognition for ranking 2^nd in the Statistical Operations (national level) at the 2023 PSA Awards held in Quezon City.

For PSA Antique, the 11^th anniversary is also monumental as it was awarded Second Place in Statistical Operations among all provinces in the country at the 2023 PSA Awards held at the PSA Complex, Quezon City.

Dr. Randy Tacogdoy, Chief Statistical Specialist, extended his appreciation towards the Antique Provincial Statistical Office personnel for their untiring effort and sacrifices in coming up with and providing invaluable quality statistical products and services.

“Great appreciation goes to all the Statistical Researchers and other field personnel who works above and beyond to comply with all the requirements of the many statistical surveys implemented by the PSA,” he added.

Furthermore, in its continued effort to public service, PSA Antique also organized a gift-giving activity to the disadvantaged children sheltered at the Pagsapupo Center, Binirayan Hills, San Jose, Antique.

This year’s anniversary highlighted the importance of the commitment of the PSA to providing sound and reliable data and to ensuring that interventions are aligned with the needs of the local communities through empowered data stewardship.
