The Philippine Statistics Authority – Negros Occidental registers 88-year-old Clarinda Asis and 95-year-old Adeline Asis to the PhilSys Registry through its PhilSys Mobile Registration on Wheels in the City of Bacolod on 03 August 2024.

PSA – Negros Occidental PhilSys Registration Team poses for a picture with 88-year-old Clarinda and son

Fleri Eugenia Venus, a relative of both registrants, visited the PSA – Negros Occidental Provincial Statistical Office on 01 August 2024, asking for assistance in registering Asis, since the National ID is now considered as one of the updated requirements for the delayed birth registration through the Local Civil Registrar’s Office. Upon receiving the request, the PSA – Negros Occidental PSO scheduled for a PhilSys Mobile Registration on Wheels at Brgy. Felisa, Bacolod City, and visited the homes of the octogenarian and nonagenarian, in response to its call of an inclusive identification system especially to Filipinos who are considered priority clients (senior citizens and persons with disabilities) and have difficulty reaching the PhilSys Registration Centers. Lola Clarinda and Lola Adeline are only two of the many priority clients that the PSA-Negros Occidental goes the extra mile to reach.

Furthermore, Chief Statistical Specialist John F. Campomanes would like to inform the public that the PSA – Negros Occidental PSO’s lines are open to special registration requests similar to these. CSS Campomanes remarks that, “This is such an opportune moment to get every Juan and Juana in the picture through our PSA services.”
