The Philippine Statistics Authority – Negros Occidental has collaborated with the Office of the Fifth District Representative, Atty. Emilio Bernardino L. Yulo, for the conduct of the PSA Caravan sa Quinto Distrito – a three-day caravan of services being offered by the Philippine Statistics Authority.

18 September 2024 – FIFTH DISTRICT, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL. The Philippine Statistics Authority – Negros Occidental has collaborated with the Office of the Fifth District Representative, Atty. Emilio Bernardino L. Yulo, for the conduct of the PSA Caravan sa Quinto Distrito – a three-day caravan of services being offered by the Philippine Statistics Authority. 

Among the services tendered by the PSA during the caravan were SECPA On-site Printing, Birth Registration Assistance Project, and the National ID registration and updating. Aside from this, the Office of the Fifth District Representative also offered free legal counsel while the Local Civil Registrar’s Offices of the respective Local Government Units under the Fifth District of Negros Occidental assisted clients with regards to Civil Registration concerns like corrections on Civil Registry Documents and delayed registration of birth. 

The three-day PSA Caravan sa Quinto Distrito started on 18 September 2024 at the Office of the Fifth District Representative in the Municipality of Isabela, then transferred to Brgy. Cabacungan, La Castellana on the second day, and finally culminated at the Himamaylan City Gym on 20 September 2024. A total of 2,727 transactions from 2,096 clients were completed during the event. 

In his closing message, Congressman Yulo expressed his sincerest thanks to the Philippine Statistics Authority, as this has become an avenue for his constituents, the people from the Fifth District of Negros Occidental, to conveniently access PSA service near the comfort of their homes.
