31 JANUARY 2025 – NEGROS OCCIDENTAL. Interim Regional Director and Concurrent Chief Statistical Specialist John F. Campomanes invites the public to join the Philippine Statistics Authority – Negros Occidental in the celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month with the theme, “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) System.”
During the month-long observance, starting from 01 February 2025 until 28 February 2025, a series of educational activities and community outreach programs will be conducted across the country to raise awareness about the significance of civil registration. This includes workshops, information dissemination, and initiatives to encourage citizens to register vital events timely.
For the information of the public, the Provincial Statistical Office of Negros Occidental has prepared the following activities:

Aside from the line up of activities, Junior High school and Senior High School students may join the ePoster-Making Contest, while an Infographics Contest is in the works for LCRO personnel. The Philippine Statistics Authority – Negros Occidental will also be hosting a charity event for the elderly at St. Vincent’s Home, Bacolod City. Clients requesting for their civil registry documents also have a chance to win amazing prizes at the CRS outlet.
Members of the Provincial Association of Civil Registrars in Negros Occidental also have activities planned for the month of February in support of the 35th Civil Registration Month.
