Ongoing co-location between PhilSys and DSWD at Brgy. E. Lopez, Silay City on March 13, 2024

19 March 2024 – NEGROS OCCIDENTAL. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), through the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has partnered up together in a co-location strategy to make PhilSys services more accessible to the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries. 

It can be recalled that the Provincial Statistics Office of Negros Occidental had undergone coordination meetings with the local DSWD Provincial Operations Offices earlier this year to discuss the process and schedules for the said co-location where PhilSys services (e.g. registration, ePhilID issuance, biometric authentication, and PhilID tracking) shall be made available to 4Ps beneficiaries . On 19 February 2024, the pilot implementation was conducted in San Carlos City and Hinigaran. Then went full-scale on 11 March 2024 and is projected to conclude in early May 2024. 

PSA – Negros Occidental would like to inform the public of its schedule with the DSWD for 19 to 23 March 2024.

Consequently, due to the high influx of registrants coming to the PhilSys Mobile Registration Drives, temporary closures of the PhilSys Registration Centers outside Bacolod City may be experienced from Monday to Friday but shall resume operations every Saturday. 

The following PhilSys Registration Centers shall remain open daily to serve the public: PhilSys Fixed Registration Center, CRS Outlet Bacolod City, Ayala Malls Capitol Central, SM City Bacolod, Robinson’s Place Bacolod, Gaisano Grand Central, and Gaisano Grand Silay City.
