20 JANUARY 2025 – NEGROS OCCIDENTAL. The Philippine Statistics Authority – Negros Occidental announces that the operations for the National ID Registration has officially resumed today, 20 January 2025, following a brief hiatus. The agency explains that this was done to debrief and recalibrate the registration procedures in order to provide better services to the Negrosanons in the province.

Chief Statistical Specialist John F. Campomanes urges the public to register to the National ID as this will provide a valid proof of identity for all citizens as a means of simplifying public and private transactions. Those who intend to enroll in the PhilSys Registry may register using one valid identification, which includes but not limited to any primary or secondary government-issued ID, Certificate of Live Birth, school or company ID, and barangay certificate, at the agency’s National ID Fixed Registration Center at the Provincial Statistical Office of Negros Occidental or any of the following malls: Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Robinsons Place Bacolod, SM City Bacolod, Gaisano Grand Central, Gaisano Grand Silay, CityMall – Victorias, and CityMall – Cadiz. At the same time, to broaden the agency’s reach in delivering its National ID services to more Negrenses in the province, National ID Registration Teams are set to conduct mobile registration campaigns in the various Local Government Units of Negros Occidental while following a regular schedule at the Local Civil Registrar’s Offices and local registration centers.
