Mr. Salvador J. Legaspi received his ePhilID immediately after registration on 08 October 2024.

At 95 years old, Mr. Salvador J. Legaspi of Yapu, Bugasong, Antique successfully registered in the National ID system and received his ePhilID immediately after registration on 08 October 2024 at PhilSys Fixed Registration Center (FRC) in San Jose. 

Mr. Legaspi’s registration marks a significant step in ensuring that every Filipino, regardless of age, has access to vital identification resources. The ePhilID will facilitate his late registration in the Local Civil Registry (LCR), allowing him to formally document his identity and access essential services.

Having a National ID is a big help especially in the part of the society that often find it difficult to transact and get service in offices for the reason that they are looking for two or more official ID or proof of recognition. Usually, they are those who live in faraway places the poor, members of the indigenous community, the elderly and the elderly disability.

Mr. Legaspi’s achievement at 95 years old underscores the importance of the National ID system in empowering individuals and strengthening community ties. His story is a testament to the potential for positive change and inclusion at any age.
