03 FEBRUARY 2025 – NEGROS OCCIDENTAL. As the implementation of the 2024 Census of the Population and Community-Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CBMS) of the Philippine Statistics Authority – Negros Occidental draws near its completion, Interim Regional Director and Concurrent Chief Statistical Specialist John F. Campomanes urges the public to get enumerated. 

“The participation to the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS is an obligation of every Filipino household in the country as it aims to update the inventory of the total population of the country, along with the streamlining of the list of beneficiaries of government social protection programs,” Interim RD Campomanes states in an interview. “The results of the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS shall serve as the basis for the government’s decision-making in the creation of new and improved policies and projects.”
